  21. Add 'CD' to your ppp.config. This tells ppp to check the modem
  22. to see if it is connected before dialing. It also means it does
  23. not hang up your modem when you disconnect. I just cycle power
  24. on the modem. This is much better if you have a busy provider
  25. like I do, when I get a Line I want to keep it!
