- Add 'CD' to your ppp.config. This tells ppp to check the modem
- to see if it is connected before dialing. It also means it does
- not hang up your modem when you disconnect. I just cycle power
- on the modem. This is much better if you have a busy provider
- like I do, when I get a Line I want to keep it!
